Instructions for authors

The International Journal of Art, Culture and Architecture (IJACA) welcomes original and high-quality submissions from researchers, academics, and professionals worldwide. The journal publishes interdisciplinary research at the intersection of art, culture, and architecture, with a particular focus on heritage, identity, and the built environment.

Types of Contributions

IJACA accepts the following types of submissions :

  • Original research articles
  • Case studies and applied research
  • Review articles and critical essays
  • Book reviews
  • Thematic contributions for special issues

Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors are required to create an account and follow the step-by-step submission procedure.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should ensure that their manuscripts meet the following requirements:

  • Written in clear academic English
  • Length between 3,000 and 5,000 words (maximum -,000 words)
  • Include:
    • Title
    • Abstract (150–250 words)
    • 4–5 keywords
    • Main text
    • References

Manuscripts must be submitted in editable format (.docx preferred).

 Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are fully anonymized prior to submission.

 Ethical Standards

IJACA adheres to international publication ethics standards. Authors must:

  • Submit original work only
  • Avoid plagiarism and duplicate submission
  • Properly cite all sources
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest

 Copyright and Permissions

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material. Evidence of permission must be provided at submission.
